Florida is magic (Part 3)

Characters:
Amy- The young egotist
Anna- Amys best friend
Snaggle- Amys toothless catfished face grandma
Dawg- The person that Snaggle might sleep with that is not Amy's Grandpa who is the care taker of the dog, CASSIE MAE WERNER!

Setting: somewhere in the heartbreakingly pathetic town of Port St. John, Florida. The trailer park community identified as Canaveral Groves.

Enter Amy and Anna, they fling open the door of Amy's grandparent's trailer. The air is thick with a year and a half of anticipation. But they realize that nobody is there. Snaggle must be at the bar.

Amy: Snaggle must be at the bar!
Anna: It's two in the afternoon.

Amy shrugs. There are two pairs of bunny ears in the next room, puke colored pink with an advertisement for a potpourri company printed on the front. Amy takes these bunny ears as a sign. She turns to Anna.

Amy: We should put these bunny ears on. It will make Snaggle happy.

So the two girls put on the bunny ears. And sit on the couch. And wait. And wait. Afraid to move in the event that Snaggle walks in. IT COULD BE ANY MINUTE.

Amy: We can't move, because Snaggle could come in at any minute!
Anna: Ok.

The girls go back to staring ahead on the couch, with the bunny ears on, failing to see the absurdity of the situation.

Amy: We should resign ourself to living more intentionally.
Anna: We should resign ourselves to living more artfully.
Amy: We should resign our selves to living more articulately.
Anna: Haphazardly!
Amy: Coherently!

Snaggle Tooth comes into the house. Her hair is half blonde, half grey. There is one earing in her ear. There are baby wolf cubs cuddling on her shirt. Breath reaking of BBQ and Beer. Nose hairs bleeding into mustache. Her mouth is a gaping hole where her teeth used to be. Jean shorts unbuttoned. Her face is slow to make recognition, and her face reveals the the thought process of every thought she has THUNK!

Anna: Hi Snaggle!
Amy: SNAGGLE!

Snaggle shrieks and comes crawling across the couch towards Anna. Amy jumps up, and walks across the room. Snaggle is staring deep into Anna's eyes. DEEP INTO ANNA'S EYES. Snaggles face is an inch and a half from Annas. Snaggle's hands are rubbing Anna's neck, in a way that could be described as frighteningly, horrifyingly, uncomfortable.

Snaggle: Anna... Anna... EEEE. ANNA! WHAT do you think of yourself?

Snaggle stares at Anna with out blinking. Amy stands in the corner reflecting on her own feelings of relief that Snaggle is touching Anna and not her. Anna is giggling nervously in response.

Anna: .. I don't know.
Snaggle: YOU are beautiful.
Anna: Thank you.
Snaggle: NO, what do you really think? You ARE beautiful. You are.

Snaggle whispers something into Anna's ear. Anna giggles. Amy looks over in horror to see that Anna is enjoying it.

Amy: (To Snaggle)Do you like our bunny ears?
Dawg: (To Anna) The problem with the.. err.. computer is in that there tower. Not the picture screen!
Snaggle: (To Amy)Those are the dogs.
Anna: (To Dawg) I think you mean the monitor. But yes, the computer virus is in the computer and not the monitor.
Amy: (To Snaggle)Both of them?
Snaggle: (To whoever is still listening) Yes. In case.
